For me, this weekend just gone was spent couped up in my recently converted 1 man sweat shop (my house). My first Jonesez album Betty’s Soup came out on Friday and packing and shipping orders took up a lot more time than I anticipated. It was actually good fun but that’s probably because it’s my record I’m sending out, I doubt i’d enjoy it if I was sending it for someone else.
Stress levels were a little bit high, mainly because I wasn’t sure if I’d receive the BS vinyl in time. This was my first time getting vinyl manufactured overseas and I’d be lying if I wasn’t terrified. What if they were late? What if they didn’t arrive at all and there was some guy laughing his arse off because I’ve deposited most of what I have into his bank account??
Turns out i was worrying over nothing. They did arrive on time and they look and sound amazing!
